Privacy Policy

Qronus (qron.us) is a private, self-hosted social media scheduling tool built on the open-source Postiz project. It is used internally by staff and volunteers of four affiliated businesses — Wrenbys, Planet Fashion, Reedmace, and Archnumeris — to draft, review, and publish social media posts. It is not a public product and is not offered to the general public.

Who this applies to

This policy covers people with a Qronus account (staff and volunteers of the businesses above), and the social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) that those people connect to Qronus on behalf of their business.

What data we access

When a user connects a social media account, Qronus requests permission (via that platform's own OAuth login) to:

• Read basic profile information for the connected account (name, profile picture, page/channel list), to display it in the scheduling interface.
• Publish posts, images, videos and reels to that account, at the times scheduled by the account's own team.
• Read engagement and performance data (comments, insights) for content published through Qronus, to show basic reporting to the team that manages that account.

Qronus only accesses accounts that a user has explicitly connected. It does not access any other account, page, or channel belonging to the connecting person or business.

Where data is stored

Account credentials (OAuth tokens), draft and scheduled post content, and uploaded media are stored in a private database and file storage, hosted on Railway, and are not accessible to the public. Data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising, and is not shared between the four businesses listed above — each business's connected accounts and content are managed separately by its own team.

Third-party platforms

Qronus connects to third-party platforms (Meta/Instagram/Facebook, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, and others) solely to publish content and read basic engagement data on behalf of the connecting account, as authorized by that account's own login flow. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how it handles data separately from Qronus.

Retention and removal

A connected account's data is retained for as long as that account remains connected to Qronus. A user can disconnect an account at any time from within the app, which revokes Qronus's access. To request removal of any stored data, contact us using the details below.
